01. Chinese for Preschoolers (Creative Communicators)

The early years are a crucial stage for language acquisition. The Creative Communicators program introduces preschooelrs to Chinese naturally through play, music, and sensory activities, fostering curiosity and early communication skills.

 

This program helps Preschoolers:

  •  Develop listening and speaking skills through interactive songs and rhymes.

  •  Build a foundation for bilingual thinking with engaging storytelling and movement-based learning.

  •  Strengthen cognitive and motor skills with hands-on activities suited for their developmental stage.

Multi-sensory Topic-Based Learning

A more fun & unique way to learn Chinese!

 

This multi-sensory language course integrates visual, kinesthetic and auditory inputs. Boosting your child’s creativity and analytical thinking, strengthing their left and right brain’s hemispheric connections.

Expression & Communication

Our curriculum incorporates interactive elements that enhance communication skills, and fosters emotional expression.

Improving focus amid the overstimulated digital world

Art improves focus by channelling attention on detail and mindful engagement which improves overall concentration, which can transfer to other areas like studying or completing assignments.

Immersive Full Senses Language Learning

Visual

E.g. Interactive Light & Shadow Game

How? Use a flashlight to cast shadows of objects, show the physical object and say their Chinese names (e.g., "这是什么?" - What is this?).

Why? It helps toddlers associate shapes and words in a fun, exploratory way.

Auditory

E.g. Music call & Response Game

How? Play a Chinese word-and-response game with simple beats (e.g., clapping, tapping a drum) & using instruments!

 

Why? Rhythm and repetition reinforce pronunciation and word recognition.

Kinesthetic & Balance

E.g. Our fun obstacle course with feet sensory elements!

How? Create an obstacle course using different colored, shaped and textured mats!

Why? Gross motor skills, balance, and feet sensory! To activate the vestibular and proprioceptive systems. These are responsible for balance, spatial awareness and body positioning!

Tactile

E.g. Mystery Texture Box - Guess the Object!

How? Place different objects (e.g., soft cotton, bumpy orange peel, rough sandpaper) in a box.
 

Let toddlers feel the object without looking.
Ask them “这是什么?” (Zhè shì shén me? - What is this?)
Reveal the object and say its name in Chinese.

Why? Enhances sensory memory and connects words to textures.

Smell

E.g. Scratch & Sniff Chinese Smell Game

How? Prepare different scented items (e.g., orange peel, cinnamon, flowers) in small containers or use scented stickers.

Why? Associating words with smells strengthens recall and enhances sensory exploration.

Taste (with permission!)

E.g. Teach taste words by letting toddlers explore safe, mild flavors.

How? Prepare tiny samples of sweet and sour foods (e.g., mashed banana 🍌 for sweet, diluted lemon juice 🍋 for sour).

✔ Cut food into small, soft, and easy-to-swallow pieces.
✔ Always supervise toddlers while eating.
✔ Use allergy-safe foods.
